Zwei Profile nach links, eines nach rechts, from Spiel mit Köpfen (G. L 16; W. 57.5)
lithograph printed in the spatter technique in brownish orange, 1923, one plate from the set of six, on machine-made laid paper with two Armoured Fist (Panzerfaust) watermarks, signed in pencil, from the edition of fifty, published by the artist and Utopia Verlag, Weimar, 1923, printed at the Staatliches Bauhaus, Weimar, one of only a few surviving impressions (probably the full edition was printed, but it seems that very few were actually distributed and that the majority of the edition was lost or destroyed - only five complete sets are known today), the full sheet, a horizontal fold 30 mm. above the lower sheet edge across the lower margin, a few short tears at the sheet edges (the longest 18 mm.), pale mount staining, backed along the sheet edges verso with white paper tape, remains of the front mount stuck to the sheet edges, the subject in very good condition, framed
