A rare sandstone figure of Ganesha
Khmer, pre-Angkor Period, circa 8th century
Well-carved with a short dhoti tied around his rotund belly with a sash, his face realistically carved with a humorous expression flanked by wide-spread ears, reaching with his trunk to a bowl of sweets in his left hand
