Khmer, Angkor Period, Baphuon style, 11th century
Well-carved with a cleft chin and almond-shaped eyes beneath gently arching brows, the curling beard and moustache indicated with incised lines and the hair in fine braids pulled up into a rounded topknot and secured with a beaded diadem
