A Japanese bronze gilt-splash goat koro, 19th Century
decorated with red patina embellishment, modelled with the animals horned and bearded head open mouthed and raised upwards, its left foreleg slightly bent under the standing figure, a detachable oval cover to the back of the beast -- 4¾in. (12cm.) wide.
