TWO MATCHING CHINESE WOOD PANELS, 19TH CENTURY
each with carving to the edges of two long tassled pendants hung with auspicious symbols including twin fish and ruyi heads above carved dragon heads, bats, key-fret and foliage, the centre of the panels carved and painted with a poetic couplet written in cursive script and with a small incised inscription at the top of the left panel reading 'Yu Zhi' ('Made by order of His Majesty') -- 60¼in. (151.8cm.) long. (2)
