A Nepalese bone and fabric headdress, 17th/18th Century
formed with five long sections of bone carved as the Dhyani Buddha within an arch formed flaming mandarla and above half a stylised human skull, attached to a long section of fabric, with further hanging bone-bead chains; a Nepalese wristband, formed with three long slender bone sections with pointed terminals carved with roundels and stylised scrolling foliage; and a Nepalese carved bone fragment, 19th century -- maximum 12¾in. (32.4cm.) wide. (3)
