A Chinese celadon jade vase and cover, 18th/19th Century
of flattened baluster form with archaic S scroll handles, carved in high relief and openwork with bamboo and prunus trees climbing along the sides from rockwork, with a phoenix standing beside the vase holding a ruyi-spray in its mouth -- 6½in. (16.5cm.) high.
