A pair of Canton enamel teacups and saucers, 19th century
both painted with a continuous scene of butterflies amongst peony, fruiting peach, chrysantheum and lingzhi sprays above a lotus petal border, on a turquoise ground -- 5 5/8in. (14.3cm.) diam.; and three Canton enamelled square trays with shaped corners, two painted with figures before mountain scenes with lines of calligraphy, the third with a central roundel depicting a European lady surrounded by scrolling lotus on a purple ground. (5)
