A Chinese famille rose snuff bottle, early 20th Century
of flattened tapering ovoid form, decorated within two catrouches with scholars and attandants in a garden pavillion, surrounded by stylised flowers and foliage on a yellow ground, underglaze blue Qianlong sealmark to the base, stopper -- 2 5/8in. (6.7cm.) high.
