comprising twenty-four preliminary designs for woodblock prints, in sumi on paper variously depicting courtesans and bijin, some in interiors and on terraces, with the colour codes marked in katakana and kanji, some with the designs for the print series drawn in the upper left or right corner -- 15½in. x 11in. (39.3cm. x 27.9cm.), all stuck down, unsigned, cloth cover.
