Ten Chinese teapots and nine covers, Qianlong and later
the first, decorated with two scenes of ladies and an attendant in a veranda reserved on a diaper ground with lingzhi roundels; two enamelled with cartouches enclosing floral blossoms, one with gourd, finger citron and floral band on the shoulder and cover, the other with floral swags on the cover; the fourth with scattered floral sprays; the fifth and sixth, with Cantonese enamel decoration; the seventh with Chinese Imari style decoration of chrysanthemum, lotus and peony sprays and pagodas; the eighth, with scenes of a dignitary and a lady in a fenced garden; the ninth, with a millefleur decoration; the tenth, a Yixing teapot with a bird perched on a branch and prunus branch -- maximum 8¼in.
