A Chinese famille rose bowl, Daoguang seal mark and of the period
with rounded sides rising to the everted rim, supported on a slightly tapering foot ring, the exterior decorated with a recumbent spotted deer with its head turned to the back looking at a bird above, flanked by a peach tree with lingzhi fungus growing beside it and from rockwork and a pair of bats in flight, underglaze blue Daoguang seal mark -- 4 5/16in. (10.9cm.) diam.
