A pair of Japanese satsuma art nouveau style vases, Meiji Period
of tall tapering form rising to a slim neck where the rim extends outwards forming three handle-supports which terminate in rose formed fixed ring handles, painted and gilt with large butterflies amongst tall irises and trailing wisteria - 24¾in. (63cm.) high. (2)
