A Chinese wucai compressed-globular brushwasher, 19th century
decorated with scrolling foliate peony blossoms between a band of lotus petal panels above the foot and foliate lotus blossoms on the shoulder, underglaze blue six-character Xuande mark, wood stand; a blue and white bowl, painted with figures engaged in leisurely pursuits including playing weiqi, painting and reading, the interior with a medallion of a scholar leaning on books, a pine leaf band below the rim -- 7 13/16in. (19.8cm.) diam., 18th century; and a blue and white bowl, with two phoenix amidst a lotus scroll, the interior with a lotus medallion, a trellis band below the rim, underglaze blue Fu gui chang ming ('Riches, honour and long life') mark, 16th century -- 7 3/8in. (18.7cm.) diam. (3)
