A Chinese grisaille decorated dish, Circa 1750
decorated en grisaille with peony and finger citron sprays set around a book and an archaistic vase, the cavetto and rim with three peony sprays, a double-gourd and bamboo encircled by a spearhead border; a Chinese imari dish, with a central medallion enclosing peony and plum blossoms amidst rockwork and a pagoda, encircled by decorated lappet panels alternating with peony blossoms and peony scrolls, the reverse with two floral sprigs, underglaze blue lingzhi fungus mark, Kangxi; and a famille rose dish, enamelled with two mounted warriors leaping above waves, the rim with floral cartouches reserved on a diaper ground with blossoms, 19th century -- maximum 15 5/16in.
