Two Chinese famille rose porcelain brushpots, 18th/19th Century
the first of hexagonal form, each panel decorated with a pink and green alternating ground and border, painted with prunus, bamboo and chrysanthemum sprays and panels of calligraphy, surrounded by bamboo style bordering - 5 5/8in. (14.2cm.) high; a famille rose square sectioned brushpot, painted with panels with vases, precious objects and large flower sprays; and a circular brushpot moulded with twin dragons chasing a flaming pearl.
