etching, 1880, on laid paper, third state (of ten), a rich, tonal impression, with extensive proofing notes in pencil in the margins, with a little retouching, with margins, time-staining, a 23mm. tear at the left sheet edge, 17mm. and 10mm. tears at the upper sheet edge, pin-holes to the sheet corners, creases to the upper left sheet corner, remains of old tape to the right sheet edge on the reverse, other minor blemishes
