Lot Essay

En relation avec un groupe en bas à gauche du Sacrifice de la fille de Jephté peint par Pittoni en 1732-3 pour le Palazzo Reale de Turin (F. Zava Bocazzi, Pittoni, Venise, 1979, no. 63, fig. 297). L'artiste a réutilisé ce même groupe dans un autre grand tableau, Le Sacrifice de Polixène, peint en 1734 (F. Zava Bocazzi, op. cit., no. 166, fig. 271).
