The center gilt with a rosette of radiating foliate scrolls terminating in a five-petal flower, the faux lapis-lazuli border enriched with touches of gilt and gilt at the edge of the cavetto with tight alternate lollipop flowers and stiff leaf tips, a band of scallops centering dots enxtending into the basin
