The exterior of the box and cover molded all over with yellow and puce-centered cinquefoil blossoms surrounding a green leafy stem, the interior of the cover painted with a shepherd standing beside his seated dog and piping to his flock in a hilly Italianate landscape; the rims with a hinged gilt-metal mount
