Each backplate in the form of a putto holding laurel swags issuing a pair of curved candlearms terminating in leaf-tip-cast drip-pans and fluted nozzles, issuing a further candlearm and with a laurel-swagged vase above his head, one stamped 'HH', drilled for electricity and with some drilled holes now filled in
