CIRCA 1600, WITH EK MONOGRAM POSSIBLY FOR ENGEL KRAN
Kugelbauchkrug, the bulbous body applied with three oval medallions with a merchant's mark containing a strapwork cartouche with a bird on a wheel flanked by a jug, beaker and feathers, with the initials EK and strapwork ornament border, with cylindrical cordoned neck and strap handle (chips to upper rim)

This shield mark is registered in M. Kohnemann, Auflagen auf Raerener Steinzeug, Raeren 1982, ill.p.165, although the lower section with the EK monogram was obviously unclear and not illustrated.
