The case of typical form with breakarch pediment surmounted by a later urn finial, engraved pewter register plates with thermometer, one with a ribbon-tied cartouche inscribed BAROMETER/THERMOMETER/en/CONTROLEUR/door/A. Peia/fec: Amft, the cistern with ribbon-tied laurel swags, foliate carved finials; tubes and mercury removed
