The case with glazed side panels, the cast ormolu dial with profile portrait and individual white and blue enamel Roman cartouche chapters, black painted later steel hands, signed on an enamel plaque below DUQUESNE/A PARIS, the eight day twin barrel movement with rectangular plates joined by five back-pinned vase-shaped pillars, now with anchor escapement, countwheel strike on bell, repeat signature to back plate; pendulum; winding key
