The baluster body painted with two medallions reserved within cartouches with scenes from Ovid's Metamorphoses after engravings by Johann Ulrich Krauss in camaieu purple and yellow, supporting an urn issuing flowers, the pointed spout with floral motifs above a bracket, with scrolled handle, outlined in iron red, the inside to the upper rim with a band of ornaments, the domed covers with Laub und Bandelwerk motifs and tiny spire finial, the cover and handle pierced with holes for a chain (a minute chip to the extremity of a spout)
