THE DISH CIRCA 1550, SEVILLE (TRIANA), THE BOWLS 16/17TH CENTURY, PROBABLY MANISES
The dish with central boss, the border with 'dot and stalk' and thistle pattern sections divided by leaves enriched in blue and with pierced aperture, the reverse with spiralling lines (chips and wear), 32.8 cm. diam., two escudelles with 'dot and stalk' motif border, 14.6 and 15.1 cm. wide, one with trelliswork pattern border, 16.5 cm. wide, the reverses with stylised ornaments (various damages and repairs) (3)
