LATE 19TH CENTURY, THE PAIR WITH BLUE CROSSED LINES AND GILT S MARK AT THE BASE OF THE TAIL, THE RHINO WITH BLUE CROSSED LINES MARK TO THE BACK OF ONE PAW AND WITH IMPRESSED NUMERALS
The pair naturalistically modelled after 18th century Meissen models by J.J. Kaendler, enriched with grey markings (some losses to tuft extremities, the rhino with one restored ear)
The hounds 19.6 and 21.8 cm. high, the rhino 12.5 cm. high (3)
