A LATE VICTORIAN SILVER CIRCULAR CLOCK FRAME,
MARK OF WILLIAM COMYNS, LONDON, 1900,
On bracket feet, housing a base-metal Goliath timepiece with white enamel dial with black Roman numerals & auxiliary dial, blued steel hands, the frame inscribed "Major James Grant. Glengrant. Oct.3rd.1908 from G.S.G.", blue velvet covered back, the strut present but detached, 8¼ in. diameter (21 cm.), 9 3/8 in. high (23.8 cm.).
