A PAIR OF GEORGE III IRISH SILVER 2-HANDLED CUPS,
MARK OF SAMUEL WALKER, DUBLIN, CIRCA 1765,
Leaf-capped scroll handles, applied reeded girdle, pedestal foot, sides chased in relief with birds, fruiting vines, flowers & "C" scrolls, rococo cartouches above the girdle, one side vacant, the other engraved with a greyhound current crest, a fruiting vine band around the foot, both cups with crowned harp struck twice & maker's mark once to left of crested cartouche, 5½ in. high (14 cm.), 27 oz. (2)
