Lot Essay

The above figure is one of 25 small replicas produced from Hedges-Quinn's life size statue of Sir Alf Ramsey, erected outside Ipswich's Portman Road stadium in August 2000. Amongst those to be presented one of the statues were Lady Ramsey and Sir Bobby Charlton
