Oblong and on four stud feet, with fluted husk borders, with sides chased with strapwork and scrolling foliage all on a stippled ground, the hinged cover similarly chased and with central oval plaque chased with the scene of a Potifar's wife attempting to seduce Joseph, with lock, marked on base and with stamped inventory number 308
