A Baltic parcel-gilt beaker and cover
Mark of Johann Diedrich Rehwald, Riga, circa 1768
Trumpet shaped and on fluted silver-gilt foot, the base inset with a Bavarian thaler dated 1761, the detachable cover chased with a band of strapwork and with fluted ball finial, the gilt rim engraved with inscription, marked on rim and cover
24.5 cm. high

The inscription reads 'Maria Griesinger: Wittibe = Urbahn: 1768:'
