Mark of Heinrich Frederichs, Hamburg, circa 1640
On lobed domed base and with baluster stem and lobed waisted bowl, the stem applied with three leaf-capped scroll brackets, the foot and bowl chased with panels of foliage, later engraved with 'AB' cypher with Earl's coronet above, marked on rim of bowl and with later Austrian control marks on bowl and foot
