Shaped oblong, on four shell feet, with fluted corners and moulded borders, the lockplate with rocaille and scroll decoration, the detachable cover with double scroll swing handle and shell shaped thumbpiece, the cover engraved with the initial P within shaped cartouche and with single soldier supporter and with coronet above, marked on base, below Dutch legal silver standard
