the globe made-up of twelve chromolithographed gores to two polar calottes, depicting geographical information, the equator and ecliptic graduated, the prime meridian through Paris, showing the tropics of Cancer and Capricorn, Arctic and Antartic Circles, international railroads, telegraphic lines and others, supported atop a decorative cast iron stand featuring mustachioed faces and the initials LB in relief and with three claw feet
