Lot Essay

Amy Oxenbould (b.1921) worked from the mid 1970's studying and producing equestrian subjects. She attended race meetings in particular in the Wirral region, and sculpted a number of famous horses, including Mill Reef, Troy and of course, Sea Pigeon.
