Intended for the Farm Palace in the Alexandria Park in Peterhof. All the pieces were decorated with the monogram of the heir to the throne, the Grand Duke Alexander, the future Tsar Alexander II. Additional pieces were produced after the coronation of the Emperor Alexander II and replacements continued to be produced.
