A blue and white sauce boat and two salt cellars
Kangxi-18th Century
The sauce-boat after a European silver prototype, painted to the interior with pagoda's and retreats in a rocky river landscape, the exterior decorated with flower sprays, 22.5 cm. long; a salt with the concave top with widely flaring flower-shaped rim, supported on a short pedestal and widely spreading foot, painted with flower sprays, 10 cm. diam.; and another other salt with the top in the shape of a chrysanthemum, with small petals painted with flowers and supported on a wide base, 9 cm. diam.
