A pair of Canton enamel saucer dishes
18th Century
Finely painted in mirror image with a river landscape depicting a lady seated on a donkey and her servant crossing a bridge towards a pavilion, encircled by a yellow ground scroll border and a trellis-pattern band reserved with roundels between cartouches of flowers, peach and finger citrus, the reverse with a green ground border of meandering flowers, surrounding the base containing blue stylised dragons on a yellow ground
