A CORE-FORMED GLASS ALABASTRON
CIRCA 6TH-4TH CENTURY B.C., EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN
The centre of the blue body with white and turquoise zigzags, white spiral trails around the lower body, shoulder and neck area, white trail around the edge of the rim, with twin applied ring handles; and a Hellenistic core-formed glass alabastron with dark blue body, an opaque white marvered thread wound around the rim and spirally down over the neck, tooled into a festoon pattern over the body, leading to a spiral over the lower body, with twin lug handles, one missing, 2nd-1st Century B.C., Eastern Mediterranean
