(2 cm.) across inner hoop; a Roman cornelian intaglio with figure of Ceres holding corn ears in one hand and a patera in the other, circa 2nd Century A.D., 11/16 in. (1.8 cm.) across inner hoop; a cornelian intaglio with a satyr and maenad, probably Roman; a Roman bronze bezel with relief bust of Apollo wearing radiate crown, both 11/16 in. (1.8 cm.) across inner hoops, all mounted in later gold ring settings; a cornelian intaglio with figure of Artemis holding her bow, probably Roman, mounted as a gold-cased fob; and four other hardstone intaglios, two mounted in later gold ring settings and two as gold-cased fobs (9)
