With pear-shaped bowl, the flat edge decorated with band of engraved scrolls inlaid with niello, joined to the handle with a flat disc with engraved monogram, niello now missing, the long handle with a terminal in the form of a stylized animal head, the flattened ears extending back along the handle; and a Graeco-Roman silver ladle, with shallow bowl, the long handle with suspension loop, penannular in form terminating with stylized lion heads, 1st Century B.C./A.D.
