Accompanied by the commemorative "2000" Patek Philippe cardboard slipcase, leather-covered presentation box, display plaque with medallion, certificate, attestation and Bulletin de Marche no. 8979929.

According to our research, the present watch has never before appeared at auction.

Patek Philippe produced the reference 5100, "10-Day" wristwatch, to commemorate the beginning of the third millennium. The design of this model, imitating the manta ray, evolved from the reference 2554 of the 1950's and 1960's. Produced in a limited edition, there exist 1,500 pieces in yellow gold, 750 in rose gold, 450 in white gold and only 300 examples in platinum.

The present lot represents one of approximately only 17 pieces to have appeared at auction to date.
