Accompanied by an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirming the date of manufacture as 1953 and its subsequent sale on June 8th, 1963.

According to our research, the present watch has never before appeared at auction.

Patek Philippe commenced production of the reference 1593 in 1944. Collectors often refer to this model as "Hour Glass" as its shape with a narrow waist resemble a sand timer.
