With nickel-finished lever movement, wolf's tooth winding, bi-metallic compensation balance, cream enamel dial with Breguet numerals, all within the elaborate case with red translucent enamel over engine-turning enhanced by rose-cut diamonds, the back centered by a diamond-framed polychrome enameled cartouche of a putti amidst flowers, case, dial and movement signed, movement further signed for the retailer
27mm diam.

Lot Essay

Accompanied by an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirming the date of manufacture as 1895 and its subsequent sale on October 18th of the same year. This watch would have originally been accompanied by a rose gold outer repoussé case with a scene of "Hercule".
