Original green cloth, gilt-decorated with a vignette of a canoe on front cover, spine gilt (joint starting, some wear at spine ends and corners). Provenance: Mr. James Clifford (bookplate).

FIRST EDITION. Under command of Sir William Wiseman, the Curaçoa sailed from Sydney to the archipelagoes of the western Pacific making stops at Lord Howe Island, Norfolk Island, Samoa, Tonga, and Fiji.
