FIRST EDITION. While the account of Boyle's adventures is most likely fictitious, Castelman's visit to Philadelphia in 1710 is thought to be true. Chetwood, a bookseller, publisher and writer, achieved his greatest success with The Voyages, which was reprinted in several editions. Cox II:1726; Howes C-355; Sabin 12553.
