FIRST EDITION IN FRENCH. "A short account of La Pérouse's expedition is given, also of the unsuccessful search for him of D'Entrecasteaux and Kermadec. Dillon discovered in 1827 that La Pérouse met his fate on Vanikoro, one of the Santa Cruz Group.
