FIRST EDITION. Often attributed to Arthur Dobbs, and certainly at least written by a supporter of Dobbs's efforts to pursuade the Hudson's Bay Company to pursue the Dobbs plan, the text provides a short historical accounting of the expeditions led in search of a Northwest Passage. Included in the text is the letter from Ryder and Murray to the Privy Counsel asking for a larger reward, stating that the £20,000 has already been exceeded in costs relating to their voyage. VERY RARE: according to American Book Prices Current, no copies have sold in at least 30 years. Alden & Landis 749/248; Sabin 80665 and 51824.
