4o (272 x 217 mm). Blank leaf d4 present, 2pp. list of "encouragers of this work" at beginning. Folding engraved chart with some outlines colored in red by hand (2 short tears to folds), folding engraved frontispiece (4-in. tear along fold), 6 engraved plates (one hand colored). (Some light staining to plates.) 19th-century calf, two morocco lettering pieces on spine, edges gilt (rebacked to match). Provenance: William Mackenzie Williams (bookplate, and signature dated 1856).
